My Approach

Light. Texture. Contrast. Motion.

I’ve spent more than 20 years photographing people, places, products and experiences. I’m always looking for what gives an image its energy—the changing light, an unexpected perspective, a fleeting expression, or a small detail that says something about the larger story.

Some photographs are carefully planned. Others happen in a fraction of a second. I like working in that space between the two: creating strong, considered imagery while leaving room for something real to happen.

20+ Years Behind the Camera

Two decades of commercial photography has taught me to adapt quickly—to changing light, locations, people and production schedules—and to recognize the moments that can’t be recreated.

I work across hospitality, tourism, architecture, products, people, municipalities and businesses, approaching each project on its own terms.

A Marketing Perspective

I’ve also spent more than 20 years working in web design, branding and digital marketing. That changes how I approach a shoot.

I’m thinking about the story as a whole: the defining images, the supporting details, horizontal and vertical compositions, negative space for copy, and how everything will work together across websites, campaigns, print and social media.

Photography and campaigns I’ve created have generated millions of organic views across social media.

Reach isn’t something I try to manufacture with every photograph. But years of seeing what makes people stop, engage and share has sharpened my sense of what connects: something beautiful, something unexpected, or simply something that feels real.
